<ul>
<li>gain and share greater knowledge about specific areas of computer security</li>
<li>learn how to create a website using Google Sites</li>
<li>build a collaborative website with a partner</li>
</ul>
<p>You may choose your own partner.  Groups of TWO only.</p>
<p>You will each create independent pages that support your chosen topic.  You will each work independently on your individual pages that contribute to overall website related to your topic.</p>
<p>FOCUS: Each website will focus on a specific area of computer security and should include the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>a summary of the issue or threat</li>
<li>real world examples of people and/or organizations that have been affected by your issue</li>
<li>steps to protect yourself/your computer/your organization from this threat</li>
<li>resource and bibliography page &#8211; where did you get your information?</li>
</ul>
<p>Part 1</p>
<p>1. Choose your partner.</p>
<p>2. Choose your topic &#8211; I have a list.</p>
<p>3. Begin your research on your topic &#8211; see the focus areas above.</p>
<p>4. Each group sends ONE email per group that tells me:</p>
<ul>
<li>your names</li>
<li>your topic</li>
</ul>
<p>part 2 &#8211; you need a FREE Google/Gmail account for this part. If you don&#8217;t have one I can help you to get started.</p>
<p>1. one person creates a Google site.</p>
<p>2. share editing rights with the OTHER person.</p>
